Greetings to all. Praise the Lord for sparing our lives. He is so good to all that trust in Him. Like for me for instance, the Lord delivered me from my addiction of pornography and I haven’t looked at it in over two years. The Lord is very faithful when He says He gives us power “over all the power of the enemy”( Luke 10:19). All we have to do is believe what He said and be willing to relinquish whatever sin and Jesus will give us the power to overcome all sin. If we don’t believe, it is a sin (Psalm 78:41) and calling God a liar, because we doubt that He is all powerful if we don’t believe. Lord Jesus please help us to conquer unbelief! Today’s scripture is from Proverbs:
Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
7Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
8Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest. Proverbs 6:8-9
We should do as the wise man said and observe the ants and stock up on Bread (which is the Word of God: John 6:48, John 1:1,3,14) while it is summer time. Why? Because after summer, the chilly air of fall [which is the forerunner of the winter] starts brush us. The wintery winds are known to be cold and brutal, making it difficult to survive if we’re not prepared. We are now in the time of the chilly forerunner (we know this because of the signs Jesus warns us about: Matthew 24:5-8, 2 Timothy 3:1-5) which signifies the closing-in of the brutal cold.
There will come a time of trouble for the true believers of Jesus Christ that will cause their faith to be ultimately tried (Daniel 12:1). If we prepare for the winter in the summer time like the ants, we have a greater chance of surviving than someone who only has enough Bread for a day.
