Salutations to all. Bless the name of the Lord for He is so good. He is a God who delivers out of all situations (Psalm 34:19). The Lord is worthy to be praised in the good times and in most definitely the bad times, because in those situations when there is absolutely no way out, He delivers us. Praise the Lord! Miracles still do happen! Today’s scripture is from 1 Thessalonians:
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
After seeing these two scriptures, we shouldn’t be deceived when someone says that they saw the Lord in Africa or in the dessert (Matthew 24:26-27). When Christ comes, it’s going to be a loud (Psalm 50:3), glorious event (Luke 9:26, Psalm 18:12-13) and every eye will see Him (Luke 21:27). He will not touch the earth at His second coming as it is stated in verse 17,”Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:”. This means that we wont just vanish into thin air as some movies falsify the truth, but we (hopefully myself included) will see the Lord in the air and be brought up to Him.
