Unfit living, unfit life.
It seems those often chosen for the race aren’t a good fit.
We love a good story that ends in victory for the unlikely hero. But what if, the chosen misfit is just that? Always broken, always out of place? Always unfit for the tasks at hand?
It feels like I’ve got more gifts and knowledge than I can handle, more than I am able to perform.
They say call out and ask Him for guidance, I do and yet the wall still remains. It feels like shouting praises and being grateful only goes so far.
They say gratitude unlocks abundance, trials are meant for growth and are the steppingstones to success, yet with every batter and bruise, every hit and every fumble, here I still stand beneath the rubble of my stumble.
Too much, too little, too loud, too reserved. Knows too much, knows nothing at all.
Pride,
self,
feeble mind,
broken soul.
Still pressing towards the One that can make me whole.
The day of rest seems hardly restful.
Mind ticking, thinking, it just won’t stop.
Now?
How?
When?
Ever?
Surrender.
Unfit life, unfit living.
The mystery continues to unfold, the stories still yet to be told, all I know is, if He is able to make me renewed and whole, then I’m truly willing.
